A word from Olie about the NEW ALBUM!

STOCKHOLM ALBUM COMING VERY SOON!

It’s been one hell of a year in the making, but we’re almost there!

We began recording in March 2011 and spent 6 grueling months locked away on the east coast of Florida re-vamping, re-writing, and creating a sound that we’re already so proud of. We’ve had ups, we’ve had downs, mishaps and setbacks, and believe us when we say no one has been more excited and anxious about this release then us. We were blessed with the opportunity to record this album, off the clock, so we could take the time to enhance the songs we already have, and write a couple of new ones that we are most anticipating. We worked tirelessly alongside Rick Adams and Eries Cornelius, who were the perfect duo to push us in the direction we wanted to go, while having a lot of fun doing it, and we can’t thank either of them enough for working with us.

After we had finished tracking in early September of 2011, we spent another 6 months discussing and executing different options of who was going to mix this album. We were honored to hear of some big names who wanted to have their stamp on this record and after a lot of decision making, we decided to go with our tried-and-tested previous mixer Daryl Phenneger (Yellowcard, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus).

Over the past year of making the album, we’ve been through every emotion possible from excitement to exhaustion to almost feeling utterly useless that we couldn’t give our fans what they have been waiting so patiently for. New Music! But the wait is almost over. 

Over the upcoming weeks we will be releasing a whole bunch of new info on the album, from its title to track listings, artwork, its’ single and hopefully a new video too! We can’t thank you enough for your patience and sticking with us for what has been a long one!

BIG News!

STUDIO UPDATE:

We’ve been in the studio a LOT these past few weeks, hibernating, listening, recording, consuming many energy drinks and arizona tea’s, but it has FINALLY paid off, recording is FINISHED and we are moving on to the next step, MIXING, and after that MASTERING, then after that PRESSING then finally RELEASING w/ a big ol’ CD Release Party, that will be a little ways down the line but it is something nice to think about isn’t it? :) While you can’t really wrap your pretty little hands around that just quite yet, here is something you can! 

SHOW UPDATE:

OCT 26 @ FIRESTONE. FREE. ALL AGES.

That is correct, free and all ages, you can’t beat that! This will be for the Hometown Heroes Finale Show! What does that mean exactly??? It means Orlando Calling will be there and picking bands for the Orlando Calling Music Festival! That means we need all the support we can get at this show so we can play at this huge festival with names such as The Killers, The Raconteurs, Kid Rock, The Doobie Brothers and More!
